Protocol
Last Updated: December 30, 2025
01. Objective
This protocol defines our rigorous approach to data sovereignty and protection within the ems.pub infrastructure. We prioritize the integrity of scholarly communication and the privacy of the global academic community.
02. Data Collection
We collect only the essential diagnostic and authentication data required to facilitate objective peer review and production workflows. This includes:
- Authentication credentials via encrypted secure layers.
- Manuscript metadata necessary for indexing and discovery.
- System diagnostic logs for infrastructure performance optimization.
03. Sovereignty
All users retain full sovereignty over their intellectual property. ems.pub acts strictly as a modular environment for workflow management and does not claim ownership of hosted content.
04. Encryption
Data in transit and at rest is protected using enterprise-grade hardening and encryption standards. We perform daily automated archival backups to ensure complete data resilience.
